October is the month where everything changes. It’s my birthday month which is the start of another year for me. Alongside this the weather starts changing, the leave change colour and I like the atmosphere that comes with Autumn. Today I shall be sharing some of my favourite things about Autumn.

The Colours Change

I love all the colours that are typical in autumn. The warmth of oranges, reds and yellows. How the trees look before the leaves begin to fall. I’m not one for changing my decor for the season. But, if I was this is the time of year I’d do it.

My Favourite Things About Autumn. Leaves Changing

Cosy Clothes

I do enjoy elements of summer, but I generally find I get far to warm. Around this time of year, the weather begins to get a little cooler before it gets properly cold. It is, however, cold enough to wear cosy jumpers and scarfs. My favourite is this mustard jumper I picked up from Primark last year.

Hot Drinks

Clique as it might be but I love a good Pumpkin Spiced Latte. I’m yet to have one this year but I enjoy having them occasionally as a treat. A good hot chocolate always goes down well too. I’m always on the lookout for recommendations so let me know your favourite places in the comments!

Deep Lipsticks

Now I’m always down for wearing a nice deep red, or burgundy lipstick no matter what season. I do find that something about autumn calls for these shades and lends it’self wonderfully to experimenting with new ones. My favourite is Matte After Dark from Urban Decay.

Nights in

There is nothing better than settling down for the night with a good book, or even a blog post. As the nights begin to get darker I find myself doing this more and more. My ideal night includes a good book, a fluffy blanket, a hot chocolate then curling up with Kyzza on the sofa.
