February Goals

It’s that time again, the first blog post of the month. I like using this post to set goals for the next few weeks since I find that I stick to them better when I write them down and share them. So without further ado, here are my February Goals.

Blog

It makes sense to start with my blog first. This month I don’t want to change much. I want to stick to my posting schedule and writing posts in advance.

A Year of Bullet Journaling

This January marks a year since I started my first successful Bullet Journal. Over the years, I’ve tried to use the system to keep myself organised, however, this year it just clicked.

During this time I have learnt a lot, firstly I can’t draw! Before I started I spent time researching on Instagram and Pinterest and watching many of Amanda Rach Lee’s videos on YouTube. Even though they were all extremely inspiring there was no point me try to copy their ideas too closely.

A New Chance: My Quote for 2020

Can you believe that we are now in 2020! It’s a new year, a new century. It’s the start of something new. A new chance for everything. Just before Christmas, I graduated from a make-up course so it is the beginning of everything new. A new challenge for me, and a new career. I was setting up my bullet journal for 2020 and I found a quote for my opening page,

What’s in my bag? Zero Waste Edition

Gosh, writing that title took me back to early 2000 when I’d spend my free time watching YouTubers such as Zoella and Tanya Burr filming What’s in my bag videos. How times have changed! Today I’m giving it my own, zero waste spin.

But I digress, as I said in my New Beginnings post, Conor and I have started trying to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that we use in our everyday life.

The Colours Change

I love all the colours that are typical in autumn. The warmth of oranges, reds and yellows.

The Alchemist: Cardiff Bloggers Social

Last Wednesday I attended my first Cardiff Bloggers Social at The Alchemist, Cardiff. I was fairly nervous going because I’m not comfortable in new places and with new people. However, it was extremely friendly. Kacie from The Rare Welsh Bit; who organised the event, was so welcoming and immediately made me feel at ease.

It was a wonderful chance to meet other bloggers from around Cardiff. During this event, I was able to meet many different people.

Going Vegetarian: Starting the Journey

As you may have read in my New Beginnings┬ápost last month, Conor and I made the decision to go vegetarian a few months ago. Today I thought I’d share a quick post about why we made this decision and how it’s going so far, for anyone who’s possibly thinking about cutting out or reducing meat. Or for anyone who is particularly curious.

Why Vegetarian?

Let’s start with the burning question that’s going through everyone’s mind.
