Everyday Makeup – for when you don’t want a full face.
This is the first time I’ve written a post like this, it won’t be the last, so please bear with me as I stumble through my first few. The other day I created an everyday makeup look for my friend. Today I’m going to share it with you today. The one request I had was to make her eyes pop. Since she has blue eyes I used the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette as it has the warm tones that would do this!

I started by Chases all over the lid and then a little of Low Blow in the crease. Since Elora has slightly hooded eyes I mixed He Devil and EN FUEDO together for the outer corner of the eye. But rather than taking it up as I would with a different eye shape. I focused the colour along the lash line in the outer corner. Then to finish off I place a little of Once to the inner corner. I wanted to create a subtle highlight, but nothing majorly shimmery.

Elora doesn’t wear a lot of makeup I didn’t want to use foundation, instead, I used concealer under the eye and finished the whole look off with lipstick. The one I used was from Bobbi Brown, I like using these lipsticks for a more natural look. They go on relatively clear, more like a lip balm than a lipstick. They also then change colour reacting with the pH of the wearer’s skin. Making it very natural.

What is your goto makeup look? Is this something you might wear? I know the colours aren’t traditionally ‘natural’ but I think when used in the right way they can make a really nice, everyday makeup look.
